I look forward to meeting you on your mat.
"I have attended different yoga classes for the last 20 years and Raewyn is my favourite teacher. I first attended her classes for pre-natal yoga and they were perfect. Raewyn has a deep knowledge of yoga and ayurvedic principals and her classes flow so beautifully. Her classes are welcoming and she is always so helpful and supportive when I have any restrictions with my body. I enjoy her classes immensely and have learned some very helpful techniques to practise at home that have positively impacted my yoga practice."
"Raewyn's classes provide nourishment for the body, mind and soul. I love the wisdom of her beautiful words, the wonderful healing music she plays and the care with which she guides us through movement. She is so mindful of each person's capabilities and adapts her poses so that everyone can benefit whatever stage they are at on their fitness journey. I love the fact that every class is different and there is always something to inspire. It is clear that Raewyn loves what she does and is constantly learning more herself so that she can pass it on to her students."

Weekly Yoga Classes
Looking for a regular practice or feel like joining a class? You can find Raewyn teaching weekly at My Yoga Space, Thirlmere.
Wednesdays 9:30am - 10:45am
Vin/Yin is a marriage of the strong, yang Vinyasa Yoga with the receptive Yin Yoga. Active, yet grounding sun salutations and standing flows are offered in the first half of class to enliven the body and chase away any fatigue. The Yin half of class, on the other hand, offers passive, seated and supine poses that are held for anywhere from 2 – 7 minutes on each side. The Yin aspect helps to switch off fight-or-flight mode, promoting balance throughout the nervous system and allowing for a sense of peace and relaxation.
YIN Yoga + Meditation
Thursdays 9:30am - 10:45am (starting 15.10.20)
The term “yin yoga” comes from the Taoist tradition. Yin is about finding stillness and cooling the body. And, the theory goes, we need both to find balance and be our most optimal selves.
This practice will target your fascia and provides great support to those who do cross training, who wish to improve mobility and all prevent injury.
Pregnant students are also welcome to attend and variations of poses will be offered to ensure the practice meets the needs of both mothers and baby.
Bathed in Traditional Chinese Medicine, this practice uses the meridians to promote a sense of wellness and balance within the body and support the immune system and nervous system.
BOOST IMMUNITY and support the wellbeing of you and your family with the highest, food grade essential oils.
I have always been an advocate of home based recipes for cleaning and caring for my family and avoiding using chemicals and toxins. This year I am really excited to be offering pop up 'Low Tox' maker workshops where you will get a chance to get hands on, learning about and making your own products for cleaning, cooking and personal care that are created from high grade organic ingredients and essential oils.
"First tried UMAMA yoga through a corporate program. These became my favourite two hours of my week. After a few weeks all my self doubt went out the window as Rae would lead us through the most restorative, calming and rejuvenating practice. I achieved poses I never thought possible. Every body and ability felt at home on the mat with Rae and her team. Thank you for every thing you have helped me to achieve in my body, mind and my heart. I really can’t recommend umama yoga enough if you are experienced or a newbie whose been too nervous to try yoga before. Total yogi covert here xx"
